Winds will improve over the coming days with fun pulses of swell.
We’ll see E’ly tradeswells continue across CQ into and over the weekend and early next week at a minimum. More significant E’ly swells are still on the table but contingent on low pressure developments next week.
As new high pressure drifts into the Tasman over the weekend we’ll see another round of NE windswell develop for NETas late in the weekend and early next week.
It's not overly big but the coming period is packed with small swells with generally favourable winds.
The tropics is in an active state with multiple low centres expected along the monsoon trough as it responds to a phase of the MJO passing into Australian longitudes. Still plenty of uncertainty there, with any meaningful swell subject to extremely low confidence in specifics.
The coming period will see small to moderate swell pulses ahead of a larger, stronger swell next week.
