Next week is looking pretty fun as a monsoon trough off the QLD Coast and a large high moving into the Tasman reset the SE flow through the Southern Coral Sea, favouring the Capricorn Channel.
Not much on offer over the Xmas weekend. Approaching fronts drive NW winds through Sat, tending more W’ly on Xmas day but no major swell sources are on offer so we’ll be looking at just tiny back ground swell from the E in the 1ft range.

We've got a couple of quality groundswells due through the period with workable though not ideal winds.
The end of the week isn't anything amazing but we should see favourable winds and stronger swells fill in from the weekend.
Tomorrow will become tiny ahead of a new groundswell Friday but with dicey winds. The weekend looks fun ahead of a large W/SW groundswell from a 'bombing' low early next week.
