Conditions won't be as nice as we've seen but there'll still be plenty of swell and windows to work around.

The surf will ease into tomorrow with less favourable, strong N winds. The weekend looks fun with a new mix of swells with workable winds, active into next week as well.
As expected a monster high (1035hPa) is currently drifting into the Tasman Sea, roughly equidistant between the South Coast and Tasmania. A very firm ridge is established from the Mid North Coast right up to tropical QLD, with weaker pressure gradients along the temperate NSW coast.
The major swell generator will a broad fetch of SE-E/SE winds in the Coral Sea/Northern Tasman which will be enhanced later in the week as a broad tropical low tracks southwards from New Caledonia and into the wide open Eastern swell window, bringing quality E/NE swell to NE Tas later in the weekend and early next week.
There's plenty of smallish surf to work with this period with a couple of bigger days in the mix.
The major swell generator will a broad fetch of SE-E/SE winds in the Coral Sea/Northern Tasman which will be enhanced later in the week as a broad tropical low tracks southwards from New Caledonia and into the wide open Eastern swell window. A less reliable outlook heading into the end of the week with the South Coast fairing best over the coming days.
We'll see favourable conditions and fun levels of swell for the coming days, slower into the end of the week ahead of some decent size on Saturday, though winds will be an issue.
