A few minor tweaks to the weekend f/cast with winds just a bit more robust than they looked on Wed.
Small, inconsistent leftovers for the weekend with a N/NE windswell later week.
Decent pulses of W/SW swell with favourable winds this period.
We've got a good new swell and great winds due tomorrow with deteriorating conditions due through Sunday, poor through the early to middle of next week.
The swell will drop back to the 1-1.5ft range on the Mid Coast but there'll be plenty of quality days for the South Coast.
The swell energy will drop a touch in size compared to the last two days but winds will be generally favourable with great conditions for the beaches early-mid next week.
The blocking trough pattern breaks down next week as a very strong high moves into the Tasman with a very firm ridge up along the sub-tropical QLD coast ( the so-called Quidge).
We still have the trough block pattern in place with the South Pacific low centre contracting away to the NE while a secondary low centre retrogrades back into he Tasman Sea. An anchoring high, is being shunted away with a trough and front expected tomorrow before a new dominant high moves in from the Bight.
Make the most of the coming days of waves before things go a little slow next week.
