Todays late pulse should finally fill in and supply a few 4ft sets tomorrow between the Capes with tiny 1-2ft surf in Mandurah, 1ft in Perth. Winds remain predominantly E’ly with high pressure ridging in under the state and an inland trough.
No change to the f/cast. Small background energy from the South Pacific holds fun surf next week with a small pulse on the weekend.
Sunday looks more dynamic as a low forms to the NE of the state and a S’ly fetch extending to the south of the Island generate new S swell.
By Sunday we’ll see a deepening angled trough in the Tasman Sea with a low expected to form in the trough NE of Tasmania off the Gippsland Coast.
