We’re finally drawing to a close some six days of thoroughly decent easterly swell.
Easing swell into the end of the week, new NE windswell for Sunday and Monday.
Overnight we’re likely to see this current E/NE swell ease back in size and strength.
Strong new swell building later Friday but with onshores, easing Saturday and cleaner. Long-period and inconsistent W/SW swell filling in Monday.
Large new SW groundswell tomorrow with improving winds, easing Friday with excellent winds. New slightly smaller swell for Sunday with strong SE winds, improving into Monday as the swell eases.
Easing small swell with early fresh offshores down South tomorrow. Strong new mix of swells building Friday afternoon with improving winds for the Mid. Easing surf over the weekend with improving winds for the South Coast.
Small clean waves across exposed breaks tomorrow, larger swell building Friday afternoon, easing Saturday but with onshore winds. Good Sunday on the backside of the swell.
I also think that we’re probably close to the peak of the upwards phase of this swell event across SE Qld and Northern NSW.
Building NE windswell tomorrow, easing Wednesday as winds swing offshore. Smaller and infrequent E/NE groundswell also in the mix.
