The broad scale trend is suggestive of an East Coast Low (another one!). More in the Forecaster Notes.

Plenty of swell this week, though the winds. Swell continuing next week as winds improve.
Good swells and improving winds through this period with some standout days.
A mix of swells tomorrow, largest out of the S/SW but with average winds for the South Coast. Windy into the end of the week and weekend, but there are a few windows beforehand.
Not a great outlook at all with winds being influenced by a couple of surface lows. This will spoil a few good swells as well.
The synoptics are really complex at the moment, but the broader swell/wind trend is fairly linear so I’m not going to waffle on too much today about the various sources and how much they’ll each contribute to each coast. More in the Forecaster Notes.
We’ve got a great weekend of waves ahead, with a combo of swells and generally light variable winds both days. More in the Forecaster Notes.
Not the greatest swell for tomorrow, but there'll be a wave. Easing and smaller surf ahead of a windy S'ly swell next week.
A run of small, clean waves continues ahead of large, cold, stormy and windy conditions.
Today's swell will ease into the weekend ahead of another large pulse. Winds are tricky but will become strong early next week as a low forms right off our coast.
