A lack of groundswell and onshore winds will create poor surf right up until the end of the week when we see a slight improvement. Much better Saturday with larger groundswells into early next week.
No decent swell until late in the week with a small window for the Surf Coast, much much better on the weekend with a better swell and favourable winds and likely large early next week.
This new Tasman Low looks like it’ll pack a punch, but in contrast to the standard system we see in this neck of the woods, it’s expected to be positioned quite north in latitude.
Today’s fresh offshore winds are associated with a deepening Tasman Low that’s expected to meander slowly through the western Tasman Sea for the next few days, and will deliver an extended period of short range south swell to our coast, mainly favouring Northern NSW.
