Cleaner surf but no real swell
Cleaner surf but no real swell
Cleaner conditions over the coming days, but we'll be milking the size. More swell likely from next weekend.

Not much to pick at this period with not the cleanest conditions or best swells. There are some small windows to keep surf fit.
Nothing of quality to surf until later in the period, so stock up on the brownie points in preparation for better waves.
There’s always been a suggestion of a stationary trough somewhere along the East Coast, though it’s not been sure on where to place it (Southern NSW or Northern NSW). More in the Forecaster Notes.
There are much more interesting swell sources on the boil for next week - it appears to be a slow moving, if not stationary synoptic pattern which means a lengthy swell event of some description. More in the Forecaster Notes.
Lots of varying swell sources on the cards from the weekend, some having more strength than others.
Not much on the cards until later in the weekend and more so next week with the dominant swell source being out of the S/SE.
Not much to talk about at all unfortunately with no major swell sources over the coming couple of weeks.
Easing surf with good winds before the forecast goes terrible. Make the most of the clean and favourable conditions currently on offer.
Good waves over the coming days before the swell bottoms out, with generally poor surf into next week as a weak low forms off the southern NSW coast.
