Recap

Tiny yesterday morning ahead of a building trend into the afternoon out of the N/NE, with fun peaky waves to 2-3ft across north-east facing beaches, but with more favourable winds for other locations.

Today’s Forecaster Notes are brought to you by Rip Curl

This weekend and next week (Dec 8 - 14)

We should see the N/NE windswell strengthen into tomorrow morning across our region as the current N/NE fetch becomes broadest through this evening.

North-east facing beaches should see good 3ft sets tomorrow morning, easing slowly through the day, and easing off from a smaller 2ft on Sunday morning and 1-2ft Monday.

Conditions should be great tomorrow with a W/SW offshore, tending onshore with a shallow change later morning, fresher from the SE into the afternoon.

Sunday is still looking a little dicey with S/SE breezes, but southern corners open to the northerly swell should be clean.

Offshore SW winds are due again into Monday morning ahead of a S/SE change. There'll be no size in the wake of this change Monday, while our next increase in swell looks to build from the N/NE next Thursday, but not to the size of our current swell.

Therefore make the most of the current waves and have a great weekend!
