This weekend and next week (July18-July25)

Central QLD: Remaining tiny/flat

Not much at the moment or this week and into the weekend as weak high pressure sits in the Tasman.

We’ll see a new high moves into the Tasman next week with a low developing in the Northern Tasman. This won’t be well placed for CQ but we may see a rideable day as the low drifts away towards New Caledonia. 

Potential source of swell next week

Pencil in Wed or Thurs next week- it’s not set in stone so check back Fri for the latest.

Fri Update: Charts have discounted the New Caledonia fetch and surf is likely to stay tiny/flat next week. Check back Mon for update.
