Photos: Right on the money
On the weekend it was Take 2 for Tim Bonython and Ross Clarke-Jones at the Right. Five days earlier their hearts sunk when a supposed XXL swell lost some crosses and came in well under expectation, though it was still big enough to send RCJ to the underwater dancefloor.
Fortunately Tim and Ross stuck around, once again hooking up with the local crew, but this time in waves more worthy of the effort.
The following photos show Jake Osman aborting with Brad Norris towing behind him. What isn't included is the following wave where Osman and Norris again double-towed with Norris coming a'gutser resulting in a three wave hold down. Even with his vest inflated the water cascading off the reef held him down.
You'll be able to see that wave at the next Australian Surf Movie Festival.

Is that all gut on RCJ or is he loaded up with air bags WTF!
Airbags.
Not sure of the use of "inexplicably". The second shot shows an ugly section that looks to be mowing them down. The type that doesn't pitch enough to send the energy over you, just knocks you into its path.
Think you missed the next line of text ;)
"The reason for the dismount comes into view."
Yeah that one they're bailing out on is strange...it's such a deep water wave that looks like it'd never max out barreling but that one looks real wide of the slurge Bombie yeah dig it

Great to see Zach Haynes and Benny Rufus riding and pushing 3DFINS Dimple technology. Thanks lads for being part of the team. Hell effort for all the crew
