Geared Pro Junior

The surf is never good in Cronulla when there's a contest on. It's a law of nature. Like gravity you can bank on the fact that as soon as a contest tent gets erected the surf will go flat.

The law is about to be broken however...

Call it an anomaly, a flaw, or a glitch in the Matrix, but the Swellnet forecast - which can, of course, be banked on - shows a constant dose of swell for Cronulla at the exact time the Geared Pro Junior is gonna set up it's contest tent.

From this Saturday and finishing next Wednesday the Geared Pro Junior will pit the nations best juniors against each other on the grand banks of Cronulla. But it's not just the beaches either, the organisers can take the competition to Cronulla Point if they choose.

And with four to six foot of southerly swell predicted on Saturday's opening day set they may just set up on the Cronulla headland. If not you'll find the Geared Pro Junior contest tent set up somewhere along the beach. Just keep an eye out for juniors defying the laws of gravity while the organisers break the laws of nature.
