Watch // Mason Ho and the First Day of Christmas
While everyone else is preparing to down tools for the year, Mason Ho has upped his wokload. Fella has pledged to drop an edit a day for the twelve days of Christmas.
Not sure how all this is gonna work. For one, is Swellnet's homepage gonna be choc full of Mason edits, or should I just roll them all into one article.
Also, what if the surf doesn't co-operate? Much footage of marginal waves, who wants to see that..?
For now, he scored a fun morning at Newport Beach and, one edit in, the project is humming along.

If the surf doesn't cooperate, maybe he'll backend his clips with pointless crap. I like watching Mason surf, but his cutaways need some work. The seagull and dolphins fit, but ditch the rest.
The board closeups are a clever little bit of promo which I quite enjoy. Nice variety of sticks with a good vibe running through the artwork.

I say run Mason daily until the comments dwindle to nothing or start slagging his presence. But then again i listen to the same song multiple times in a row if no one stops me. So yeah…..it’s a very Mason Christmas!
Im happy watch Mason and listen to Jimi Hendrix practicing for ten days.
Sure beats listening to WSL 'hooray for everything' blurb....

Bring on more of that semi secret rocky medium sized righthand pit he often surfs but less of the board talk, its a bit slow paced.
His surfing doesn't seem as dynamic or polished as seen previously. Is it the burden of a wetsuit and (relatively) lower powered waves? So he is mortal!
I'd say it's the distance from bone breaking rocks that's quashing his spirit.
I don't want to be "that" guy, but the 12 days of Christmas actually start on Christmas day and run for 12 days afterwards. But good on ya Mason...
