That’s weird, that’s queer, that’s crazy, that deserves a long hard look.

A society where children develop PTSD from simply attending school is indeed a sick society.

Neighbours across the road moved from Chicago to Australia - she's American, he's Australian. They left the US because of gun violence, saying that people in the old neighbourhood would send their children to different schools. Less chance that both would be killed.

Who’s narrative, the guy with a new hole. Or the population demographic he chose to continually gaslight.
Charlie Kirk was hardly humanising when executing his position. A condescending air of superiority and impunity was obviously what lead to his own demise.

Funny how this has been confirmed as an act of political violence already.
Couldn’t it have just been a ‘crazy person’ who didn’t like Charlie Kirk? No excuse for what has occurred at all, but he’s been knee deep in the violent invective of which this *may* be an extension.
What are the odds that the shooter is a registered affiliate of one party or the other?

NRA as a lot to answer for.
There are approximately 350 -450 million civilian guns in the US alone.
Nothing more to add. Fools paradise. AW

once again, I find it intriguing the leftist's know more about this guy than the people who are supposedly being contaminated by his 'hate'
I didn't even know who charlie kirk was... until he died... was murdered...
yeh, with the benefit of hindsight, I've seen a couple of his clips where he debates college kids, and yeh, there's a bit of this...
'Kirk made a career out of patronising and belittling naive unprepared college children.'
but from my limited knowledge, he did it with respect and civility, genuinely seemed to be trying to lower the tone to get to the bottom of things
his detractors?
well... check social media... for an insight into the nuttiness, pure obsessiveness, and hate...
genuine hate and vitriol
hysterical
just a suggestion... but maybe if the nutty left called out their own from time to time we wouldn't be in such a toxic politico-scape...

Green room. Hi.
It may well be one of the most heavily armed countries in the world but it doesn’t have a population of anywhere near 340 million people like the US has, therefore way more guns in more hands of those who by the virtue of being a gun owner, are prepared to use them.
US is also paranoid about be taken over or fired upon.
Coupled with the scare mongering vernacular pushed by the NRA that you need a gun to protect yourself, what hope is there. AW

This guy. See ya!

Hollywood ? Education ? Inferiority complex ? Paranoid ? How the west was won ? Take your pick . Could throw in half a dozen more but at the end of the day it’s basically “ culture “

Hardly children. They were young adults old enough to vote. Charlie always offered for the professors to come and debate him but they never showed.

You obviously haven’t bothered to look into some of Charlie’s greatest hits. Nothing worth getting murdered over, but to characterise him as a moderate or bridge-builder is ‘intriguing’.
What’s also ‘intriguing’ is that anyone (you?) knows the motives and political ideology of the shooter. For which there is far less evidence than Charlie’s.
For all anyone knows, it could be a disaffected Republican. Right?
Do you know what Charlie Kirk said when Nancy Pelosi’s husband was brutally attacked with a hammer?
Do you know what Nancy Pelosi said when Charlie Kirk was murdered?
Compare and contrast. 5 marks.

Could be just another convenient distraction...the signature and book and all.
We know how far the Donald will go to cover his trail.
The logic for it being the product of any other political motivation doesn't stack up.
But then, it is America. People do just shoot people.

Charlie is just US gun Jeebus. He died for their guns. He was down with it.……died doin’ what he loved.

“It’s a prudent deal”
Wonder how his kids feel. Dads gone and school is a dangerous place.

Couldn’t look at that Soggy but I assume it’s this
In 2023, Kirk said that gun deaths were "worth it" to ensure the preservation of Second Amendment rights in the US-- which is the right to keep and bear arms.
"It's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year, so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights...That is a prudent deal," he said during an appearance at the Salt Lake City campus of Awaken Church on April 5, 2023.
Ironically, Kirl was answering a question about gun violence when he was shot dead.
If anyone has seen the footage of his death it’ll stun you. Farg guns!

I wonder if in that split second before his lights went out if he had any regrets.

This…..
& there are some other things goin on
- but, quick, look over there ;)

No, I mean the live up close footage. It’s horrendous what a gun can do.

“ It’s terrible the videos. And it’s all over social media. Just horrific.”

…terrible & horrific yep
- & sometimes ‘snipers’ are just following orders

…one must always consider ‘god given rights’ (in this day and age)

Don’t get me wrong
Couldn’t care less the racist, divisive, carrot cake has been blown away
Hopefully in that fraction of a second he realised all those innocent schoolchildren in the states that have died from gun violence, were more innocent than him.
I wonder if he still supported the 2nd amendment in that moment the lights went out

It’s amazing the body’s arterial pressure.
Surely it’s been blocked by now. Not something young ones should be seeing.

I saw the clip. I doubt he would have even realised he’d been shot. That was LaLa land lights out.
I’ve seen a few people get shot. Even when they’re in a situation that they’re semi-expecting it (ie combat), their initial reactions often don’t line up the sensation with the cause. In this case the loss of blood flow to the brain would have been massive
Hopefully it was quick. For his sake.

It looked quick, the amount of blood gushing out was hectic.
I heard his wife and kids were there watching. I hope this is incorrect.

He was wearing a Kevlar vest with plates?
The round hit him square in the chest and ricocheted up into his neck.
Was he regularly wearing a vest in public appearances?
This smells as fishy as the Trump one tbh.
Maybe be was supposed to take one in the front plate and shake it off.

I hope not. They don’t need that as their last memory of him.

Horrific thing to happen.
Don't think the world has become a worst place without him though by sounds of it.
Another dark event in a darkening world.
Where does this shit end?
Yep the line between life and death is very fine.
Poor kids.
