That’s weird, that’s queer, that’s crazy, that deserves a long hard look.

“ A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes. “

I don't know what's funnier.
The two Chinese ships colliding or the two blokes on the Chinese Coast Guard boat trying to put a fender over the bow before the collision. :)

@TS , here’s a bit of a run down on what went on .

Yep should have been arrested just for aesthetic violations alone.

It’s a man’s world but can’t beat life as a pig .

"it really is akin to a cult … a complete delusion and exception of the reality that the rest of us in society accept.
Once people go down that rabbit hole it seems very, very hard for them to get out."

Jeebus
Once it gets to the part where they’re holding their own courts and convicting politicians.
Haha it’s hilarious but it’s not funny at all.
Mental cases. And the crazy theories, holy hell.

Yeah it’s all fun and games until Australia has its own Waco.
Not to mention the general destabilising effect it has in the meantime.

Never try to reason or argue with one.
And yeah, plenty of them have unregistered firearms.
Farking muppets.

It’s just a new ‘religion’
I wonder if someone will eventually compile a book, or two, of nonsense and it will become the prose you completely throw your brains down the sink with the dish water with.
It’s happened before.

New world record shatters the old one , this dude held is breath for nearly 1/2 hour . https://www.sciencealert.com/croatian-freediver-shatters-record-for-long...

Seems like former magistrate David Heilpern was on the money when he warned that "governments are underestimating the reach and threats of these movements."
The sovereign citizen thing is mainstream and isn't going away.
And don't forget it's global - only three years ago in Germany, 3000 police were raiding 130 properties to arrest people suspected of planning to stage a military coup.
As an aside, this scene down at Porepunkah has big-time First Blood (Rambo) vibes, a small town perched beneath cold, rugged hills and a fella who is handy in the bush on the run and being hunted by police.
Lady who lives down the road from him says he could be in a cave, he could be down a mine, he could show up anywhere.
Sound familiar?
Local townsfolk are even describing him as a new-age Ned Kelly (someone had to I guess).

yep, the comparison was bound to happen.
ned kelly was a total cockhead.
never said 'such is life', neither.
sells 4WD spare tyre covers, but.
(renegades always insist on a spare tyre cover).

I've got a certain degree of empathy for old Ned - brought up in a dirt-floored bark hut, a scumbag Irish who was persecuted by the cops.
Pretty hard to write him off completely if you think of the desperate poverty back then, would have been difficult not to get into thieving I reckon.
And you can't deny that he had a massive set of nuts on him.
Complex character, thug, murderer with a certain charm and a way with words.

yeah, I'm sure he was a hella victim-of-circumstance. I just have a pet peeve that those who think he was the duck's nuts often have zero empathy for today's victims-of-circumstance.
('ol ned' screwed fellow victims-of-circumstance over left right and centre without remorse, too).

What do you mean with that second sentence basesix?
Sounds interesting.
