I don't reckon that was luck. A well fought game, but the Lions dominated for much of it, poor kicking almost cost them but the Hawks were always chasing.
Disappointed by the Dogs result, poor game by them but great by Freo.

Whilst I don't think the AFL publicly say this, their selection of an artist for GF entertainment is far less about appeasing their local audience, and far more about generating news stories internationally to draw attention to the game. They obsess over any US media attention and hold it up like a badge of honour.
Regardless, on the day the pre-game entertainment for any genuine footy fan is the most insignificant part of the day. It gets too much discussion for what is a very forgetful 15 minutes in the sun on a small stage in the middle of a massive stadium (and yes, I've just added to the discussion). Anyone who's been to a gig will understand in comparison just how shit the atmosphere is when the artists come on at the MCG. Everyone just sits and watches quietly, with some mild clapping as they depart.

dunno, but he's pretty shit musically.. has flow, but so does everyone.. he just happened to sit betwixt waves of good rap artists and have the stamina keep going. Like the Eskimo Joe of Cali rap. his renaissance is pretty funny, I'm laying the blame for it with menulog. Anyone know anyone who went to see Tyler the Creator (kanye 2.0) ?

He’s been labeled homophobic recently after his comments on a disney kids movie. I would say it’s more of a case of poor parenting skills. Make of it what you will.
