AW, in my humble opinion, Jeremy Howe is a huge loss for you guys. When he was out injured last few weeks Pies struggled, injured early in Thursdays game and again they struggled. Their backline is a rabble without him. Howe or bust for the Pies i reckon.

I agree with you, Howe does repel forward forays.

But the player many are not talking about is the absence of Beau McCreery and his out of the centre runs and long accurate shots on goal. I hope we can improve.

Ahh true that AW. He's a gritty heart and soul player. One of those players you hate seeing him run around for the Pies when your teams up against them because he's so damaging.
Yes! Don's starting to slowly turn the wheel. Slow but in the right direction.
No longer is winning a final a realistic thought process. Winning a game is almost certainly an unrealistic proposition at this point, but things do tend to change quickly with momentum.

Always an upside SR. August is the time of contemplation for all of us also-rans. There is always next year! Watched the tigers blow a winnable game against the Saints at a sunny G yesterday. Lots to like but lots of head shaking play. Dead rubbers are much more bearable in the glow of a springlike afternoon than in the dead of winter. We can all hope for the hawks to go out in straight sets, get some joy from the misery others.

You know the first thing I noticed about AW when I met him at the airport was that he had all his own teeth . Didn’t really fit what I expected knowing he was a pies supporter .

Normal service has resumed, Weagles by 9 in the end. They gave it a good nudge, though. Dogs v Dees was a good match.

Yeah was a fair crack. Bad luck WCE but stoked to see the Crows sitting up on top of the ladder. Might have to jump back on the bandwagon and relive the glory days of the 90s if they keep it up.
