Missed it by that much.

I’m going to sound like a whinging Collingwood supporter, because I am.
Four umpires on the field couldn’t see the blatant throw by Keays in one of the last plays, why wasn’t Riley Thilthorpe penalised for deliberately stalling for time by kicking the ball down the boundary line.
Collingwood beat Adelaide in all metrics except on the score board in the dying minutes.
Well done them they played well.
We missed it by that much, football to the ‘Max’. AW.

^^ hey @AW, what about the Diacos’ staging for frees every week, one soft non-free resulted in a goal this week in the first quarter? Pathetic really

Hi AW
I was referring to my previous comment re the Swans Cats game that just wrapped up.
Guy
I here the Daicosesses are considering taking up soccer because they’re far more adept at taking a dive than real soccer players.

@GuySmiley. Hi pal.
I must have been boiling the kettle when the ‘alleged” misdemeanour occurred.
Nothing to see here exclaimed Officer Barbrady.
Why is everybody so unkind ? Kamahl. AW

AW...you are one of the patrons of this site who posts very engaging, informative, learn-ed dialogue.
I wouldn't have picked you as a Collingwood supporter!
I think they are cooked. Lions flag to win.

Let’s hope hey Roystein!!! It is theirs if they channel that finals run last year. They’re still the best when they’re on.

Roystein. Hi mate, hope you’re well. Thanks for your kind words.
You’ll find us Collingwood supporters in cracks in ya walls, under your wheelie bin lids, in amongst the interspaces of your haemorrhoids , just about anywhere that’s putrid. We are a tough breed, bit on the nose, washing has never been a primary priority.
But, see in the Collingwood slum/ ghettos , you gotta make ya own way, flagon a day, not ‘a flag in one day’ brutal and competitive amongst the corrugated iron shanties along the ‘dirty Yarra Boulevard’ , snorting lines of ‘Lou Reed’ , fighting over the brown paper bag, not the one with the bottle in it, the one with cash in it from the across town rivals, Blues(Carlton).
Women are tough in my neck, kick start their own vibrators and roll their own tampons.
Hard job for most of us, the plaque that encircles our’one tooth’ requires daily work to you know, bit of sand paper, bit of a rub and tug here and there, ooh yeah, it’s tuff around Victoria Park.
Enuff about me, The Lions look great, they showed a lot of spirit in that win over the Dockers, excellent skills on display. Good to chat. AW

Good evening GuySmiley, it appears as though I’ve got problems with my playback device here in the shack, error message says possible outage until September 30th, oh well, next year. AW

Haha AW, you seem to have the same blindspot that the umps have regarding Nick Daicos. It's appalling how often he ducks his head or throws it back for a free..and gets them. Very talented player but hard to like with that sort of continual bad sportsmanship.
And i could have sworn Collingwood brought their own umps on the bus last night!
Great win by the pride of South Australia.

I loved that the umps put away the whistles. Finals footy.
Btw, that was all pretty funny above, nice work.

I can't find the footage of it but post game as Tex's kid had a kick to kick with another grom on the ground, they both collided head first chasing the ball...hard. Right in the nose.
As one of the Adelaide players said in a post match interview....karma!! haha

AW , I think time on is blown when the ball goes out of bounds , so there is no time wasted when he
( Thilthorp ) kicks the ball away - hence no free kick
All the Daicos haters - show me one footballer who doesn't stage for frees or accentuate the action to draw the umpires attention - Daicos is a brilliant footballer , ( and this is coming from a long time Essendon supporter ! )
I think the Cats are a very strong chance to take it out this year - just quietly going about their business down there in sleepy hollow , Dangerfield and Cameron absolute guns , no real weakness and a top 2 finish pretty much guaranteed now .

Darn right there @AW along with self-effacing humour, an admirable trait so rare these days and especially so in a Collingwood supporter making banter all the more enjoyable!

Hey @ewes, ^^ agree that both Diacos’ are brilliant but diving for frees is not on in my book, it undermines umpire credibility even further and it’s cheating full stop and ought to be red-carded if the game had such a system in place.
Season starting this week so we need a thread to document Collingwood's run to its it's 17th premiership and the year Nick Daico's wins his first of four brownlow medal's.
