Tunes

^ amazing the songs you hear in a single liddiard composition..

How's your band going Ben?
Paul Kelly would've been unreal...did he play much from his latest album? Really dig it.

Ben's Tunesmiths : "Music to our ears ...that's what the crew wanna hear...Yew! Go for it Ben!"

Waves and dust.

Nice blackers, like it.

Wasn’t there but for (my) old time sakes.

happy long weekend @seeds : )

Long weekend? Where.
I’m on my usual long weekend at work though….and loving it.
I’m about to be paid to watch the Lions v Crows game. Carn the Lions!!!

Radium Dolls
Tour dates above people. If you can make a gig you won’t be disappointed.

GEEzus.. at the Grace in Adelaide! band room the size of an average bathroom.. that'd be awesome.. can't get there cos of work.. bugger..

Yeah I can’t do the Solbar next Friday either because of work.
Solbar is a fantastic small venue also. It’s the best to see these guys.

With those dropping water levels, they’re thirsty.
I wonder if Custard are still good. Geez they were fun back in the day.

still blissed that Dave McCustard is Bluey's dad.. have you watched Celia Pacquola's special..
https://iview.abc.net.au/show/celia-pacquola-i-m-as-surprised-as-you-are
(glad she's still got her strut, the hosting stuff ain't quite her. But she is so much more than just a Utopia actor. In this special she is charming and natural, even with the obligatory vagina talk, parent stuff is funny without cringe, and you leave (watching) feeling her writing and chosen schtick has a lot of genuine heart..)
classic that she f'ed up the Bluey's Mum audition..

Dave is a natural
I’ll have a look at Celia but I bet it’s too vexed.

nah. polar opposite of a judith lucy.

An hour?
You sir are a sadomasochist. Or a glutton for punishment. Or you don’t own a phone.

ha, perhaps all three. you'd give bill burr an hour wouldn't you?

Yup Celia is good value.

Yep and yep.
I like her. Just haven’t done a whole gig.
Short attention span.

Alright, time for some discussion on what yr all listening too. My iTunes inventory is getting a little stale so I'm up for some inspiration.
Currently loving The Drones' album "Havilah".. incredible songwriting and some of the best recorded guitars and drum I've heard in a long time. I'm a little late to the party with this album but it's on high rotation at the moment and will probably stay there a while. I've seen these guys live once (Fowlers, Adelaide) and fortunately they're incredible on stage too. Can't wait to see them again.
