Updated: 2018-10-24 14:30:00 Surf: choppy 3-4ft SW Winds: Fresh ESE Weather: fine and sunny Rating: 3/10

Afternoon report: The wind has gone onshore and strengthened and the surf is a real mess out there. The gulf has waves if you're desperate for a paddle.

2018-10-24 08:33:00: lumpy 3-4ft SSW, Moderate E, fine 3/10

Plenty of swell lines around the place today but is very lump and easterly wonked. If you’re desperate search out the protected corners. Let’s be honest though probably better of heading to work or beach combing on the metro beaches. Bird.

2018-10-24 05:53:00: bumpy 4ft SW, Moderate ENE, overcast 4/10

Dawn report: Winds have swung around to the east this morning and the swell is lined up enough but bumpy/lumpy on top and not ideal for the early. There's no rush so maybe keep an eye on it through the morning. Plenty of size still out there as well. Tune back in for the updated photo report around 8am.
