Afternoon report: The winds have picked up a bit out of the west and with the high tide, Middleton Point is being swallowed up. Head down the beach a bit but not too far as to get the wind.

Cold and wet is the go again today with some reasonable swell lines hitting the coast. 2 to 3 footers off Middleton Point and Day Street.
Wind is gentle-ish at the moment so get out there if your keen straight away as the Westerly is on the up around 9.

Dawn report: Plenty of surf on the coast this morning but the early high tide is effecting most breaks. 3ft off Middleton and bigger down Day St. Give it a few hours for the water to run out a bit. Check back for the updated photo report around 8am.
