Mid Coast
Updated: 2017-12-17 08:57:00 Surf: bumpy 0.5-1ft SW Winds: Light WNW Weather: mostly fine Rating: 2/10

Slightly smaller than yesterday with shin to barely knee high bombs as the tide heads out to a low at 11.30 with high at 5 .30 pm. Guys are out on mals but they are struggling with inco hard to surf teasers. Winds will do a bit of a loop onshore then freshen offshore this evening. Size is the issue though, pack a lot of foam and patience with goal of cooling off and you won't be disappointed

2017-12-17 05:25:00: clean 1-1.5ft SW, Light E, fine 2/10

Dawn Report: Super clean again this morning, light offshore winds and some small persistent lines of swell around 1.5ft holding across the Mid. Like yesterday it's best suited to enthusiastic longboarders and those with high volume boards (and a lot of patience), the reefs have small peelers for now but it may fall with the dropping tide. Tune in to the updated photo report around 8am.
