Updated: Wed 1 October 3:10pm Surf: choppy 2-3ft SE Winds: Strong SE Weather: fine Rating: 2/10

Afternoon report: Change has moved through and it's howling onshore across the coast and not very pretty at all. New levels of southerly swell are on the build but leave it for today.

Wed 1 October 6:53am: peaky 2ft E, Light and variable N, hot 3/10

The surfs up a touch its now 2 foot maybe 3 from the East. It's very peaky and close together which seems to be helping the situation. Another factor that will improve the surf is the run in tide through the morning. Again it's back to open beaches for the best of , but just maybe it's worth a look in the coves.

Wed 1 October 6:07am: peaky 2ft SE, Light NNW, fine 3/10

Dawn Report: 2ft+ waves this morning with a little extra in some of the sets. Fairly clean conditions from the light NNW winds, just a little peaky at some breaks from the earlier straight north. Check back around 8am for the photo report.
