An acute W'ly swell was too acute to get into the South Arm over the weekend, maxing out at 1-1.5ft. Today the swell started out tiny, but a small increase has been seen this afternoon with strengthening onshore winds.

A moderate pulse of W/SW tending SW swell was seen over the weekend across the South Coast, but early W'ly winds swung onshore mid-morning. Sunday offered much better waves with offshore W/NW winds ahead of a mid-afternoon change.
The Surf Coast offered great waves over the weekend with the arrival of a new W/SW groundswell on Saturday under W/NW winds. The swell was a one day wonder though and dropped back into Sunday to a much smaller 2-3ft. Conditions were good all day though with a fresh NW tending W/NW breeze.
The Mornington Peninsula saw plenty of swell over the weekend but conditions were poor.
Yesterday started off tiny but a new swell should of filled in during the late afternoon and this has held well into this morning to 2-3ft across Clifton with a light offshore wind. The swell should be easing into the afternoon
Best Days: Saturday - Tuesday west of Melbourne, Wednesday onwards east of Melbourne

A tiny mix of average swells were seen yesterday across the coast, while today a new S'ly swell is filling in and should reach 2-3ft at south facing beaches during the middle of the day.
Light to moderate N-NE winds will freshen from the NE during the day keeping south facing beaches relatively clean.
