A small NE windswell came in at 1-2ft across north-east facing beaches on Saturday, with a jump in size seen during the late afternoon as NE winds freshened. The swell backed off into Sunday from a small 1-2ft as a weak S'ly change moved through and increased during the day.

A strong pulse of SW groundswell filled in across the state yesterday, arriving during the morning in the South West and later in the day up the coast but conditions were poor with fresh to strong onshore winds.
Wednesday's tiny S'ly groundswell eased through yesterday leaving even small waves across the South Arm, while today the surf is near flat with no decent surfing options.

Tiny waves continued across the Mid Coast yesterday with light variable winds, while the South Coast was a touch bigger and better out at Waits and Parsons.
A small spike in SW groundswell has kept small waves hitting the South Coast this morning and tiny 0.5ft waves on the Mid as hot N'ly winds continued, but a cool S/SW change is now flirting with the South Coast.
The surf bottomed out into yesterday under light variable winds, while today, the surf is again tiny with freshening N/NW breeze that will give way to a late and cool SW change.

The E'ly trade-swell muscled up into yesterday coming in at 2-3ft across the Goldy and upper North Coast under light variable winds during the morning (besides the Sunny Coast which saw persistent E/SE winds).
Today the swell is continuing at a similar size with onshore winds in SE Qld and lighter offshores across Northern NSW.

Yesterday remained small to tiny across the coast, but a slight lift in new swell was seen during the afternoon, while this morning has revealed better and cleaner 3-4ft waves across the South West, while the rest of the state remained tiny.
Tiny waves were seen through yesterday, while a rare S'ly groundswell has kept tiny 1-1.5ft waves hitting Clifton into this morning under light offshores.
This week (Jan 16 - 17)
Today's S'ly groundswell will fade into tomorrow leaving even tinier waves across the state with Friday continuing the trend with string offshore winds ahead of a weak and late change.
