The South Coast provided fun glassy waves yesterday morning with a light variable wind and small swell. The Mid Coast was tiny and basically unsurfable for all intents and purposes.

Yesterday saw fun glassy waves across most regions during the morning with a light variable wind and 2ft of swell on the Surf Coast, and 2-3ft sets on the Mornington Peninsula. A shallow S/SW change moved in during the afternoon as the swell eased creating poor conditions.

The surf has been small to tiny across most of the state the last few days with less than favourable winds Sunday and a return to better offshores yesterday and further today.

The weekend didn't offer much in the way of surf, but into today a fun S/SE swell has peaked to 2-3ft with OK conditions under a light SE'ly. The swell should of eased into this afternoon though as NE sea breezes developed.
There were plenty of fun waves on offer over the weekend, with Saturday being the standout with NE winds favouring selected breaks. Sunday was less than ideal with an onshore breeze and similar amount of swell.
Today we're back to smaller 1-2ft waves under a more variable breeze that has since gone E/NE.

The weekend didn't offer too much in the way of surf with a persistent onshore and small to moderate swell down South while the Mid Coast was cleaner but tiny, maxing out at 1ft.
Today a new swell and offshore winds created good waves down South while the Mid Coast continued at a tiny 0.5-1ft, ideal for beginners.

A funky surface trough with a couple of smaller scale embedded lows moved across the region Saturday as a new SW groundswell peaked with light onshores on the Surf Coast and offshore NE winds along the Mornington Peninsula providing great waves up until the early afternoon.

The weekend started off slow with a small NE windswell to 1-2ft on a full tide and light variable winds. The swell kicked slowly in size during the day and reached 2-3ft into the afternoon as moderate NE winds kicked in.
