This week and next (Apr 27 – May 4 )
Bali: We've got smaller surf across the region today, and it will continue to ease into tomorrow morning. Light morning winds will favour exposed magnets which should still be coming in at 3-5ft tomorrow morning (smaller on the Bukit).
Building S/SW swell later Friday, peaking Saturday morning, with a new S/SW groundswell kicking late Sunday ahead of a large and powerful long-period S/SW groundswell Monday afternoon, easing steadily Tuesday.
A strong ridge will develop through the Tasman Sea in the way of Friday’s gusty S’lies, and this will generate strong S/SE swells for the region this weekend.
Our weekend’s waves will be a combination of easing S’ly swell from Friday, and a building spread of mid-range SE swell from a strengthening ridge through the Tasman.
No major swells this period with small background levels of NE swell.
