The E’ly flow responsible for our weekend’s E’ly swells has become smaller in size and contracted slightly to the north, into the Coral Sea. However, it’s still positioned favourably for SE Qld and Far Northern NSW. More in the Forecaster Notes.
Easing E/NE swell over the coming days, with a small S'ly swell for the weekend.
A strong round of Southern Ocean fronts will drive into the lower Tasman Sea later Friday, heralding a solid weekend sizeable south swell. More in the Forecaster Notes.
Increasing westerly swells, becoming large late week but still maintaining that westerly angle.
Large swells and great winds, with a slowed easing trend this week. Plenty of options for excellent surf.
Easing surf with light winds tomorrow morning, increasing in size from Wednesday afternoon ahead of a large powerful long-period SW groundswell late week.
Easing surf over the coming days with workable conditions, much better from Thursday and very large late week, remaining solid into the weekend.
