Plenty of swell for next week but mostly west in nature and with tricky winds.
Poor weekend mainly due to the lack of swell, much better next week.
An improvement to the outlook with a couple of cleaner windows across the South Coast. Plenty of swell inbound.
As I’ve been mentioning all week, an amplifying node of the Long Wave Trough will push into South-eastern Australia from Sunday evening onwards, slingshotting a number of cold fronts into Tasmania, South Australia and Victoria. More in the Forecaster Notes.
Workable waves tomorrow, and then building swells and decent winds for next week.
The parent low to this morning’s S’ly change was quite strong, and has produced solid 4ft+ surf across Southern NSW today. The low/front responsible for our current south swell has already exited the swell window, so we’re looking at a further easing of size into Thursday. More in the Forecaster Notes.
Nothing over the coming days with our eyes on later next week.
Small W/SW swell for the coming days with dicey conditions, bigger and more reliable next week with plenty of swell.
