Recap
Yesterday morning was excellent across the Surf Coast as the swell pulsed a little stronger than expected out of the W/SW during the morning to 4ft across most breaks, with 5ft sets developing at Bells and Winki under fresh N/NW winds.
Good pulses of S/SW swell over the coming period with weak trades.
We’ve got an excellent weekend of waves coming up for many beaches (caveat for Qld surfers: sorry, directional issues will generally work against you again).
Flat until a large and solid S'ly groundswell Friday, easing all weekend under ideal winds.
All in all a really good weekend for south facing beaches that like northerly winds.
Building W/SW swell late tomorrow, peaking Wednesday with a larger SW groundswell Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.
Improving surf tomorrow with winds swinging offshore, great Wednesday with fresher offshore breezes that will persist most of the day.
Lots of swell over the coming week, but limited windows of clean conditions.
