Sunday the pick of the forecast period
We’ve got a good forecast period ahead.
We’ve got a good forecast period ahead.
Sunday looks interesting, with some good afternoon possibilities for the Surf Coast.
And the good news is that we’re expecting a slew of fronts to push through the southern Tasman Sea over the next few days, which will maintain varying degrees of south swell from Tuesday thru' Thursday morning.
The good news is that the synoptic southerly wind is expected to be relatively light on Tuesday, so we should see some influence from the hills surrounding Victor, resulting in a morning outflow from the W/NW.
We’ve had a good storm pattern below the continent over the last few days and this is generating some reasonable energy for Victoria under a mainly fresh westerly airstream.
The entire long term forecast period should have just enough size for something worthwhile on the Surf Coast.
Strong northerly winds will write off surf conditions just about everywhere on Saturday.
Just a small mix of swells this weekend.
New S/SW swell for tomorrow, easing slowly over the weekend as less favourable winds from the north-western quadrant develop.
