Windy weekend as winds pick up from the northern quadrant along with some new swell. There'll be windows and options. Fun waves mid-late next week.

Nothing overly major on the cards for the period (seeing it's winter), but there are some fun pulses of swell for next week with workable winds.

The fetch responsible for the last few days of great waves has remained active off the west coast of New Zealand, though is now slowly weakening and rotating outside of our swell window. More in the Forecaster Notes.

After a slow period, there's a bit more action and activity on the charts starting from Friday.
