Small to tiny tomorrow, with a good new SW swell for Sunday with favourable morning winds, followed by a reinforcing pulse Monday with decent conditions. Small until later next weekend.
The low forming north of Sydney right now is expected to slide S/SE during Saturday, and in doing so will swing an initial E’ly fetch around to the SE and then the South.
New S/SW groundswell and S/SE windswell tomorrow but with poor winds, choppier Sunday. A new inconsistent SW groundswell should build Monday, hold Tuesday and ease Wednesday with improving winds.

Small to tiny and fading surf across the North Shore ahead of a new W/NW groundswell Sunday, easing slowly early next week. Follow up NW swell later in the week. Good N/NE-NE groundswell event for Micronesia and PNG.
Model guidance still has a peak in size for tomorrow, which is plausible - however I think the models are a little skewed at the moment. They’ve undercalled the last few days, and tomorrow are combining two swell trains out of the east and north-east, which I think is slightly inflating prospective surf size, if only a smidge.
Clean conditions tomorrow morning with a fun E/NE swell, easing Friday with poor winds. New S'ly swell for later Friday, easing Saturday and then some good prolonged E/NE swell next week.
The best part of the current synoptic setup is that it’s associated with a blocking pattern, which means very little west-east movement in the broadscale systems. And this is a good thing, as it’s going to allow the weekend's Tasman Low to meander through our swell window for quite some time.
