Light winds will persist into Saturday but our current mix of SE and E/SE groundswells will ease from the get-go.
The expected new swell is still on track for the weekend, despite the lack of any sign of its leading edge at the Cape du Couedic buoy.

Fortunately, winds will tend light variable across all regions so conditions will be clean.
Persistent E/NE swells will hold into Friday before easing over the weekend as offshore winds strengthen.
No changes to the outlook for the next few days.
It’s hard to be confident in the short term outlook when the NSW buoys are showing such a wide variety of trends.
Our short range S’ly swells will be replaced by mid-range SE thru’ E/SE swells over the coming days.
At some point on Friday, we’ll see the leading edge of a new long period groundswell that’s due to provide plenty of surf for the weekend.
