Western Australia Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Monday 14th December)
Best Days: Tuesday morning desperate surfers swell magnets in the South West, Thursday morning in the South West, possibly Friday morning both coasts, Sunday morning swell magnets in the South West
Recap
A steady stream of small northeasterly windswell is on the cards for the week ahead, plagued by persistent northeasterly breezes each day. Not uch in terms of southerly swell until early next week.
Tiny surf tomorrow with early light winds, onshore into Wednesday, clean again Thursday morning but small. New W/SW swell for Friday and Saturday with S'ly winds on the former and E/NE winds on the later.
No major swell at all this week with average winds until Thursday. Head to exposed breaks for the most of the small swell but favourable conditions.
Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Guy Dixon (issued Friday 11th November)
Best Days: Wednesday morning
Recap:
Westerly breezes prevailed all day on Thursday keeping the line up nice and clean. There were a few nce 2ft options along the exposed beaches, however its faded back to a tiny 0.5-1ft today. The fact that the swell has disappeared is no big deal as southeasterly breeze is impacting the quality anyway.
This weekend (Saturday 12th - Sunday 13th):
Good sized swell for tomorrow but with onshores besides a possible early W'ly breeze. Clean Sunday but tiny.
On Sunday, the NE windswell and short range S’ly swell will have all but disappeared, only to be replaced by a better southerly groundswell generated by the parent low to Saturday’s change.
Easing surf with average winds tomorrow, remaining poor Sunday. Clean small swell Monday morning, fading Tuesday. Better SW swell later next week, but only clean Thursday morning.
