Tiny waves yesterday and today with flukey small S'ly swell pulses.

Today’s Forecaster Notes are brought to you by Rip Curl

This week and weekend (Nov 1 - 4)

We look towards our NE swell for Friday and there's been a slight upgrade in the expected size, with the NE fetch developing down our coast tomorrow afternoon and evening expected to reach near gale-force at its strongest just before a change moves through early Friday.

We should see a fun spike in N/NE swell Friday morning to 2-3ft across north-east magnets, easing through the afternoon with a NW tending late W/NW breeze.

Come Saturday there'll be no size left with a strong offshore wind and tiny to flat conditions as a vigorous front moves across us.

The strengthen of this front has been upgraded since Monday, but a fetch of storm-force W/SW winds pushing past the south-east corner of the state will be just that, too west to generate any swell for us.

If we're super lucky a small 2ft wave may be seen up the northern end of the coast Sunday with W/NW winds, otherwise it will be flat.

Longer term there's nothing too significant on the cards besides a small N/NE windswell next week, so make the most of Friday!
