Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Friday 14th July)

Best Days: No good days until mid-late next week

Recap

Tiny waves yesterday, while some small north-east windswell developed down the coast today, although with no real size or energy.

This week and weekend (Jul 13 - 16)

Today's weak windswell should of eased with a W'ly change this afternoon and from tomorrow through early next week there's no surfable swell on the cards.

Even the South Arm will remain void of waves.

As talked about last update though a mid-latitude low drifting in from the west is expected to move across us mid-week and with this we're expected to see an initial burst of S'ly winds generating a small S'ly pulse Wednesday, with a secondary burst on the cards for Thursday.

This unconsolidated fetch isn't great and the models may move around a little more, so we'll have to look at the timings, sizes and local winds again on Monday. Have a great weekend!
