Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Wednesday 2nd November)

Best Days: Sunday morning, later Monday and early Tuesday

Recap

Tiny surf the last couple of days.

This week and weekend (Nov 3 - 6)

Well, the outlook for the rest of the week hasn't changed, with flat surf due through tomorrow, Friday and Saturday.

Our new pulse of S'ly swell for Sunday has been downgraded a little as well with the strong low generating this swell being a little too quick through our swell window.

A fetch of strong to gale-force SW winds will be generated through our southern swell window Saturday, generating a pulse of S'ly swell Sunday to 2-3ft at south magnets if we're lucky.

Of greater importance now is a possible fetch of strong to gale-force S/SW winds developing at the base of the low as it stalls in our swell window Sunday.

This would generate a fun S'ly swell for later Monday and Tuesday morning to 2-3ft. We'll have to take a closer look at this and another possible cold outbreak mid-next week on Friday.
