Best Days: Tuesday morning

Recap

The weekend was great for surfing with fun levels of easing S'ly swell with favourable offshore winds.

Today was poor with a tiny building N/NE windswell that should of kicked stronger this afternoon with fresh N/NE winds.

This week (Oct 7 - 10)

A good N/NE windswell is expected to develop overnight as a broad fetch of strong NE winds strengthen off our coast overnight ahead of a W'ly change tomorrow morning.

This should kick up 3ft of N/NE windswell across north-east facing beaches that will ease tomorrow under fresh W/SW winds.

From here on there's no decent swell due across the coast at all until a S'ly change pushes through Sunday, therefore make the most of tomorrow morning's waves!

This weekend onwards (Oct 11 onwards)

Some better S'ly swell is on the cards from Sunday onwards as a strong node of the Long Wave Trough moves across us over the weekend, steering a series of vigorous polar fronts up through our southern swell window.

No major size is due at this stage but we'll review this Wednesday.
