Best Days: Saturday morning, Sunday, Tuesday, Friday

Recap

Tiny to flat conditions continued through yesterday and today, but we should see some small S'ly swell tomorrow.

This weekend onwards (Aug 2 onwards)

A weakening cold front pushing up past us this afternoon followed by a secondary system tomorrow should generate some new S'ly swell tomorrow but it looks low in quality only small to moderate in size.

Open beaches aren't expected to get above 2ft, while south facing breaks may see 3-4ft sets early before backing off during the day.

Winds will be less than ideal for south facing breaks with a fresh W/SW tending SW breeze, but come Sunday when the swell continues to ease, we should see offshore W/NW winds. Open beaches are expected to only be small though with 2ft+ sets at south facing breaks.

Into next week the weekend's swell will fade away with tiny S'ly leftovers on Monday but into Tuesday an acute S'ly groundswell may be seen at south facing breaks. This will be generated by a zonal but very strong polar front pushing under the state, with 2ft sets possible at south facing breaks. Conditions will be clean in any case with a strong W/NW breeze.

The end of the week is looking a touch better as a stronger cold front pushes up past us our coast through Thursday with onshores and then a cleaner easing swell Friday, but we'll review this Monday. Have a great weekend!
