Fun pulses of swell with favourable morning winds will pad out the end of the week. Plenty of swell is due next week but with dicey winds.
Primary tabs
There'll be windows of surf across both regions but with generally small surf as troughy weather dominates. More size is due from Sunday but with deteriorating winds.
The weekend will be mostly poor but early next week better waves are due on the exposed beaches, possibly continuing into mid-week (check back Monday).
The swell will become smaller into the end of the week though with lingering S/SW winds. Next week looks better for a surf to the east.
The coming groundswell will mostly be spoilt by onshore winds though there'll be workable windows for the keen and experienced.
Hit the exposed beaches tomorrow and then work around a larger swell due next week.
The coming period remains tricky with onshore winds at the peak of the swells, smallest and fading when clean.
The current swell will ease steadily as winds go onshore this afternoon, windy offshore tomorrow but gone. More swell with lots of wind is due mid-week.
We've got an average period with poor conditions at the peak of the coming weak swells, small when winds go back offshore.
The next two days will provide the best surf for the period, with stormy, localised swells due into the weekend and next week.
