The rest of the week will continue the southerly swell theme, and conditions should be good with generally light winds. Although wave heights will slowly trend downwards, there are a couple of new sources of energy that will maintain plenty of size across the region.

Monday, 30 June 2014

Wave heights will build further throughout Tuesday, ahead of a peak in size late afternoon and for much of Wednesday.

Friday, 27 June 2014

The existing small south swell is expected to ease from Saturday morning onwards, and it’ll become almost flat through Sunday, assisted by strengthening NW tending W’ly winds.

Wednesday, 25 June 2014

In general, most beaches will remain tiny to flat however a handful of south facing beaches may pick up a few stray 2ft+ sets.

Monday, 23 June 2014

Let me preface these forecast notes by saying that SE Qld is on target for an extended run of tiny to flat conditions.

Friday, 20 June 2014

Northern NSW surfers who enjoy small, long period south swells are in for a treat over the weekend.

Wednesday, 18 June 2014

Southerly swell will continue to be the dominant force across the region for the short term.

Monday, 16 June 2014

The focus for this week will be to the south, with a series of southerly swells expected to provide plenty of waves across the Northern NSW coast.

Wednesday, 11 June 2014

The new SE swell expected to fill in tonight will produce the best waves about the Mid North Coast on Thursday, as winds will be light and variable here.

Monday, 9 June 2014

Thursday morning should dawn reasonably clean with moderate SW winds across most regions, and with open south facing locations in Northern NSW peaking somewhere between 3ft and 5ft, there should be some great waves about the reefs and exposed points.
