Nias: Almost as good as...

Comparisons between Lagundri Bay, Nias, and Cronulla Point are unfair, the southern Sydney pointbreak being an infinitely better wave than its northern Indonesian counterpart. Of course it is. But sometimes it's nice to surf in warm water, cop the odd banana massage, and be reminded of how good you've got it at home.

A few fellas from Cronulla, including Alex Arthur, Jay Mason, and photographer, Steve Jones, recently did just that suffering through two weeks at Lagundri and getting some stray pits in the process.
