We've recently slunk into the arctic chill of winter, but six months ago it was the North Atlantic's turn. And, last season dished up some memorable action at Mullaghmore. Here's a highlight reel featuring Conor Maguire, Barry Mottershead, Enda Curran, and Peter Conroy.

If you'd looked at a map you might have found that our chill comes from the antarctic in this part of the world.

Fair point (though, it was a turn of phrase rather than a meteorological signpost).

How's those waves though, eh?

Has Laurie Towner ever had a go at Mullaghmore?

I think he would be in his element.

heavy AF. That yellow board looked so small.

Oh my freakin' lordy! I watched that yellow board wave five times in a row trying to wrap my head around the intensity, and I am not sure I ever will. Looks like he 'had' a leg-rope on it too.
I am trying to work out where it all fell apart; it looked like he may have been hit trying to tuck back under the lip and the board was held in the wash for a while.

I am wondering why this wave is not on the Cape Fear or part of the Big Wave Tour.

Yet Russ won one.

Best paddle wave(arguably) at cloudbreak was backhand.

Yeh, woops. Just used to seeing him backhand at the bommie.
Had a blank.
I'd fancy him on the lefts then
