Paddle out for Baddy

To honour Dave 'Baddy' Treloar and his spirit there'll be a communal paddle out at Spookie Beach tomorrow (Friday) at 10am, followed by a wake at Wooloweyah Park.

Anyone and everyone who knew David is very welcome to come and celebrate a life well-lived.

Baddy helped raise a village of grom surfers over 6 decades. Also shared the surf stoke with many visiting surfers over the years. Even when I left 2464 after 13 years he told his mate in Adelaide to welcome me at Seaford (which he did) Can't make the paddle out due to eye surgery today.

Too far for me to come.

Monday looks the goods here. Every wave all day I'm surfing for Baddy and what he represented.

Peace.

On a pumping day at the point, swell from the East 6 foot. Hard to get a wave, let alone a set. Baddy felt sorry for me i suppose and said, you go. Still today one of my best waves at the point. Thanks Baddy RIP.
