Swellnet/Lifeline Board Swap Wrap Up

The weekend's Lifeline Classic Board Swap was another big success with over $1,400 raised from the sale of boards and morning BBQ put on by Marty and George from Saltbush Cafe.

On top of this Jim Wilson Constructions donated $500 to the day putting the end result just shy of $2,000.

On a pumping, sunny morning of surf, parking spots were at a premium and this impacted on the number of boards on sale as well as some of the participants. This has been noted and we'll be moving the next event back to Freshwater to allow more people to access the board swap and be part of such an amazing day.

Still, 85 boards were on show and sale, just under last year's turn out and we'll be looking to go bigger and better next year.

The Lifeline Classic event is coming up at the end of April (28th) at Queenscliff and we're still looking to raise another $2,700 towards out end target, so please donate to a great cause here.

See you at the final event in April!
