Ricardo Christie is NZ's first CT qualifier since Maz Quinn back in the late-90s. He's from the same mold as Quinn; Christie has a rugby player's build and Jordy's Smith penchant for solid rail work. This clip by part-time collaborator Owen Milne (see Lemonyip Living for some A-Grade work from the pair) was shot in Bali recently.

Okay so I'd only ask that Aussies and Kiwis refrain from any trans-Tasman rivalry crap when he has a close heat win or loss against an Aussie.

Anyway, love that first big wrapping turn! I can just imagine the Martin Potter/Joe Turpel or Pat Parnell/Ross Williams take on it.
