Cloudbreak from above - video
Stu Gibson wiggles his digits and brings us an overarching view of Cloudbreak. From 50 feet high the various sections of the wave become visible as the swell lines bend and focus, and even the topography of the reef below becomes discernible.
Expect to see more of Gibson's footage during the upcoming Fiji Pro.

Maybe cause I just woke up but compared to his other vids, I found that one a little under-whelming.
All depends on the waves breaking underneath him I guess, and Cloudbreak sure ain't pumping in this vid. Still, I thought it gave a good overview of the reef and the lineup while being a precursor to the upcoming Mens Fiji Pro.
Get a couple of those strong Japanese coffees down and listen to that bass player wiggling his digits Zenmon.

Just got back from the Doc and watched again, apart from the perspective of that last wave and the bloke that smashes those 2 backhand reos, I stand by my first observation.
I think I like the little Northern beaches beachbreak vid from a while back better.
That would be an epic view on one of those huge clean swells that we've seen hit Cloudbreak over recent years.
Zenagain, the dude who shot the vid wasn't claiming it to be an epic vid, purely an overview of the break from above on that particular day..........
I wasn't expecting epicness rab, just that the vid (for me anyway ) didn't have a modicum of wow.
I agree, 10ft would be a different story altogether, I think I 'll wait for that one.

Well i was surprised how big this set up is,certainly a different perspective and the waves looked really fun.
I thought it was a really nice vid. Really shows how the guys are surfing and makes them looks bloody quick
