Harley Ross-Webster has led the Curl Curl Boardriders to victory in the Aloha Manly Style Gromtag. Ross-Webster teamed up with his older brother Corey, Will Sloman, Ed Aubrey and Ben Walsh to come from behind and steal the win from defending champions Elouera Boardriders.

“It was really challenging and really hard today,” said Slater. “I just figured if I’m going to win this contest, which I have to do to win the title, I’ve got to get through the best guys."

“I paddled off after that heat and there were some tears and some emotions,” Gilmore said. “I took a few breaths - it was a long year and I have to think about everything that’s happened along the way - the good results and the bad.”
