Probably not big with the SN crew, but this guy is the real deal. With UK 1.5 Billion pounds on the pitch (Liverpool v City, great game also) he totally shone
Just reliving moments from one of the underrated greats.
Balance, style, finesse...something most surfers aspire to
Precarious employment, but I'm sure the termination payments make it a bit more palatable
Yeh I reckon, somehow OGS still has some credit left with the owners.
Watched the ManU v City game. United were abject in defence (static back line) and totally bossed by City
There is too much talent in the squad for performances like that to be anything but poor management. Still I should just enjoy it while it lasts. YNWA.
Why I was over the Premier League from the get-go*
*nothing to do with LFCs record in said league until very recently...nah, really
and Brentford still entertaining versus the Saudis
Gone......and forgotten pretty quickly I expect. Still management is no place for a nice calm fellow which is always how he came across, as opposed to Conte who in a single game re-established himself as the sideline dance champion!
I did like OGS the player.
Meanwhile, Conte is very...er...animated. But maybe that is what Spurs need, to save themselves from their Spursiness, a disciplinarian with passion.
Swinging in north London?
They showed character against Leeds turning 0-1 to 2-1. Conte definitely appeared animated.
Quite a few incidents there.
Quite a few incidents there.
Ahh Tyler Durden,
Here's some other quantified (not qualified) data::
5 million dead
Fortunate to see ZZ, once (only) in Oz. Mesmeric, could receive the ball from anywhere and pass anywhere (360 degrees). One of the true greats.
Our Sam giving those limeys a pasting....Cant believe she got a yellow card for this bit of public service.

Crackin' hip and shoulder! Almost as perfectly executed as her chip in the FA Cup final.
I've always wondered how she'd go at footy - reckon that bump's a pretty good indication. At least she only copped a yellow card - in the AFL these days she'd probably end up with six weeks for a shirtfront like that.
Come on blackers! 'Limeys'? Don't "y'all" mean Poms?
Sorry, I was channelling Constance from another thread She certainly sent the dickhead flying though, however you want to sling the insult.
Sam dribbles better than the Drug Lord & her chips are too hot for Pele.
Sculls the Champers & Takes out Class A yuppie Euro Trash
Aussies call that a Thunder from downunder Hat Trick...
Ref was left with no choice but to flip the Red Card into a Dead Set Legend Card...
How many miracles do you perform in a typical week!
Takes one to know one...Top marks to Roker for purposely kicking an Own Goal!
Roker certainly knows his Footy moves from his code violations.
Kerr Family (Both Sides) are Sporting Elites.

2003 (Goal of the Year) > Brownlow 2005/2 Final > 2006/3 + Premiership > 2007/3 + Oz Team.
Sam was also one of the better players in the Fremantle Boy's WAFL Team (Play the cool Vid')
2006 Sam's switch From Big Boyz Footy to Little Girly Footy came AGE 12.
Only coz the AFL Boys were getting a bit big..
Sam does wonder what if...the Girly AFL Footy kicked off a bit sooner?
A big deal (Maybe!) Sam would've skyrocketed Chix AFL in equal fashion...none would argue that!
So! The classic cross-code shoulder charge violation...100% real deal! Ask Roker...seems so!
Should become official when we soon find out it's the most foolish & bizarre career ending injury? Wot!
tbb will marry up the Codes some more...Qldurrz Grom version
Goldie was equally a flip as Soccer Kids had to Play Rugger at school.
1973 Gold Coast School Boys Sport was Cricket / Rugby League (Imperial Weighted Divisions)
tbb recalls scoring a try in a winning premiership but mostly recalls Ref waving 2 fingers...durr!
Fast Forward one year...and the impossible happens...something new! WTF.
1974 Gold Coast "AFL" School Boys Premiers (Full Forward tbb reads from his pennant)
This still comes as a surprise even to this day...think it was the 1st (AFL) 'school season' on Goldie.
(Note: Not branded QAFL but an early use of AFL) Just thinking if this was an Ozwide School Program?
Our Burleigh Heads "Primary School" Grade 6/7 won the inaugural Season.
Our Teacher "Mr Williams" was some kinda mad keen AFL / Technical Coach (Obsessed with Detail!)
Big on Essendon, as we wore Bomber'z Jerseys even though School colours were Red/White

Head Master thinks nuthin' of dumping a team player for Jock classmate to hold aloft the Holy Grail.
Flips again as tbb's Older Brother / Keeper played in original NSL Club era.
Later as Oz Gaelic Keeper then Cross/AFL..(But!) Pulled from Goals without Official AFL handshake!
Qldurrz get Rugger beatin' into us but AFL & Football kicked just enough dents into our thick heads.
Does it the hard way...as always...Congratulations Ange!
see: Highlights! Some great Scottish Final Action...fiery & quality as always!
Opposing Striker goes animal to score first breakthru ...really gritty old school header.
Kyogo perfectly times his run to catch out the flatfooted backline...quick as ya like, slots it!
Splits the pack again with an even more clinical finish...
Either both these goals were line ball or the most perfectly timed runs ever seen in a final.
Flags stay down & Football was the winner as Kyogo sets the world alight with world class goals.
High Drama finish...Crowd go spazz!
Kyogo is now a Big Game Hero + Ange is now a Legend!
Salute to Ange for scouting Kyogo in Japan stint...obviously knows how to bring it!
Vid should play into Post Match - Ange interview!
If not > Link ABC tribute- also has same interview!
Liverpool vs Tottenham. Game of the season? Well apart from the ref. I don't usually complain on the basis that what goes around comes around but if Robertson's tackle was a red, then so was Kane's which was clearly much worse.
Good call blindboy...we can shake heads at Diogo Jota's insane bullet like header.
All agree it's amazing & that he's the best header of the ball...
Similar in stature, climbs high & equally exciting as Tim unleashing his thunderbolts...gotta luv that!
All be demanding a highlights real already...his running game head passes are weapons as well.
Really is like having an extra, upper level 12th team mate on the park.
One must consider if this gifted flight time does slow the game down thru their eyes.
Untouched Referees / Goalkeepers stall for time...equally lone Leapers are afforded a safe perimeter
Climb high enough...then sure! You can buy a split second advantage, enough to win the game... Goal!

Shevchenko was pure class, an absolute goal machine. Decent manager as well. His Mother and sister currently in Kyiv, choosing to stay and fight rather than leave.
If we're doing compilations ... the premier league goat, Shear class.
Not a reds fan but he was a genius. Entertaining as fuck.
No John Barnes...both
Actually, you're both right...technically.
I thought you would appreciate Eric’s approach to life Connie. The “seagulls follow the trawler” press conference is possibly my favourite piece of unscripted tv ever.
I was a fan.
Don't get me started on this bloke though...

Socceroos are fielding a default B side & most say a draw is best we can hope for...
Shouldn't matter as all players are quality & crew know it's always game on when these 2 teams clash.
World Cup's most fierce Pacific Derby ... must see.
I seriously doubt Australia has the depth of talent to qualify after that result...maybe should have stayed in Oceania : )
Nice result for Wales and GB(personally).
Even if they win in the 3rd place playoffs their next game will be 5th from South America. It's a serious challenge. Soccer in this country is treated as an amateur sport, unfortunately.
Loved (past tense) him as a player but the venality of some this guy is breathtaking...
Oz Football #1 on World Stage...congrats to all! Gotta luv that!
Good on him, Australian soccer urgently needs more quality coaching talent.
My son plays for U8 and we had a game yesterday. The opposition was clearly trained to bully and play aggressively as there are no real referee standards at this young age. The ref is usually just someone from the club. They put a couple of big, overweight kids into the game who were just pushing little kids around and striking fear into them. I felt like I was watching rugby. Their coach was visibly cheering them on to endorse such behavior. I got pissed off and started yelling at the referee who eventually awarded a couple of fouls. But it was all too much. Poor kids were traumatised after the game. The world has moved on from such plays decades ago. It was terrible to witness.
Also, at young age parking one or two players right in front of the opposition goal for the whole game. All good to maximise the score but creating terrible habits because once you get the offside rule kids won't know what to do. Overall, very low standards of coaching in Australia.
Yes Flollo, the standard of coaching here is fairly poor (there are exceptions). Most of all at that age it should be fun.
My brothers kids are a little bit older and live in Texas, but the coaching is right up there...they learn positional play and are taught general tactical nous and the nuances of soccer from an early age
